ReMIX • YESTERDAY’S FUTURE, INVENT TOMORROW! - Creative Business Partnership Program (ReMIX), organised by the Industrial Designers Society of Hong Kong, with the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency as the lead sponsor. The 3rd edition of ReMIX paired 10 brands with 10 design teams, resulting in 51 innovative products. For the first time, we included food brand, retail brand, and a brand from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, bringing new energy into Hong Kong design. We are excited to bring you the outstanding works from this edition!
Project Theme
The ReMIX brand and designer pairing program aims to connect and promote business collaborations between well-known local companies and professional designers. By leveraging cross-industry synergies and brand influence strategies, the program seeks to enhance the image of the local creative market and drive recognition and sustainable development for creative services, products, and industrial design.
LOG-ON x BLIND by JW
The MF BEAR Discovery Journey features a shoulder bag and tote bag, as well as a card holder, scarf, makeup brush holder, and other small items, can accompany you during your daily outings and even on international travels, to make your trip more exciting and fun! Inspired by the craftsmanship of LOG-ON Manual Factory Bear's DIY spirit, LOG-ON and BLIND by JW have collaborated to create a design that allows you to participate in the creation process while exploring Hong Kong with everyone.
"Have fun, be inspired!" is the brand philosophy of LOG-ON. Since its establishment in 1999, LOG-ON continuously brings warm surprises to consumers'.
Leung So Kee X Studio of Sai
Studio of Sai has partnered with a 140-year-old handcrafted umbrella brand to launch the “In Praise of Shadows”. Inspired by the tree forms, wave moves, and the urban landscape, offer a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. The design also emphasizes ergonomics while capturing the movements of light and shadow. Together with the Strap Pack, a convenient umbrella cover and shoulder bag, adds both practicality and style.
The brand was founded in Guangzhou in 1885 and moved to Hong Kong in 1941. It is known for its handcrafted umbrellas and lifetime maintenance of the umbrella Frame. Today, this century-old shop has kept pace with the times. In collaboration with designers Studio of SAI, Leung So Kee has launched the Shadow series of automatic long umbrellas and Strap-pack, continuing the legend of the brand.
Koon Wah Food x Head & Tail
The self-heating hot water boiler/rice cooker snack set requires no fire or electricity. With just a few simple steps, users can quickly reheat snacks, allowing them to enjoy hot, traditional snacks with a Hong Kong flair anytime and anywhere. This is a perfect blend of self-heating technology and a fresh snacking experience.
A selection of traditional Hong Kong treats like "Dried Pork Jerky", "Dried Beef Jerky", "Five-Spices Beef Cube", "Candied Walnut", "Crispy Dough", "Satay Pork Stripe", "Vegertarian Osyster Sauce Bean", Spicy Sliced Beef. Party set includes "Crispy Dough & Candied Walnut" and "Dried Pork Jerky and Dried Beef Jerky".

Meow Planet Nest Cover is designed for you and your cat to share a pillow comfortably. PASSPORT KNITSKIN and CARDSKIN-T/ W are the collaboration products by Laws Knitters and Alex King Atelier. They transformed the traditional passport cover into a design product with strong visual elements, with a unique knitting touch. Also introduces a new credit card and business card management system and coin wallet. The products utilize the innovative Seacell™/ SMARTCEL™technology, an eco-friendly/antibacterial yarn, offering a completely personalized and natural travel experience.
Featuring the elements of the skyscrapers, Sham Shui Po's street stalls and the airport runway, These products help to promote Hong Kong illustrating the modern city culture, while reminiscing the culture of Hong Kong’sthe knitting industry.
Fotomax x Palette Code Design
Fotomax x Palette Code transforms the playful and joyful playground into a dynamic interactive photo frame display. The design not only incorporates the bright Memphis aesthetics but also adopts a user-friendly design concept. With specially designed frames, you can showcase 2R, instax mini, and instax square photos. The seesaw is a timeless playground classic, and in the "Photo Playground," you can relive joyful moments by spinning the rollers on the seesaw.
BAST Lighting x Stork Stork Design
With over 30 years of experience in leading the local lighting industry, BAST Lighting is committed to combining eco-friendliness and smart control to advance sustainable development. This year, BAST Lighting launches the "SereneGlow" series in collaboration with Stork Stork Design, which the natural rhythm of light and shadow can evoke different emotions for you in every moment of your life.
The " SereneGlow Frame" ," ereneGlow Arc" and " SereneGlow Sphere” imitate the transition of sunlight, creating different beautiful and soft lighting effects that have the power to give calm and peace. The SereneGlow Sphere even features phone charging function, provide both you and your phone energy and ready for a new day!
Easily Home x SOTI Design
Lingnan Collage is a furniture collection created by Easily Home x SOTI Design, inspired by the rooftops of Guangzhou's old streets. This furniture series features multi-functionality and extensibility. Some parts of the furniture can also be combined with each other, allowing every user to enjoy a personalized design piece.
The design pays homage to the saying, "No wok, No Lingnan," with the symbolic wok house, representing mastery and dominance, thoughtfully integrated into the design of the chairs, adding depth and cultural resonance to your living space.
INFINITE x MMM Design Studio
This mobile DoggieBath design is human-centered and it creates a new user experience with the collaborative effort between INFINITE and MMM Design Studio. Multifunctional features like adjustable height, multi-angle wheels, and a simple and seamless interface encourage interaction and intimacy between humans and pets. The DoggieBath is also equipped with a massage showerhead, offering a truly relaxing spa experience. The bath also includes storage space, making it incredibly practical.
