“LOG-ON ToGather” is looking to cultivate a cultural space where people from all walks of life can share their creative inspirations. In celebration of the birth of cafe ToGather, LOG-ON will be holding the photo exhibition “ToGather”, in collaboration with FUJIFILM.
How do Hong Kong people establish themselves in the midst of difficult circumstances? How do the excitement levels displayed at major sports events reflect Hong Kong people’s fighting spirit and togetherness? Hugo Poon and Yuet Li, two X-Photographers based in Hong Kong, attempt to capture from a photographic perspective the essence of Hong Kong people’s spirit of togetherness amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Yuet Li
Yuet Li specializes in sports and travel photography. Currently working for various media outlets as a freelance photographer, writer and reporter, she believes that images can provide a range of perspectives on stories. Her rich CV of well-known sports events she has photographed includes the 2017 National Games of China, 2017 cycling’s UCI World Championships, rugby’s Hong Kong Sevens and the Spartan Race Hong Kong.
Hugo Poon
After taking up photography in 2005 with a FUJIFILM F10 in his hands, photography has become way more than a hobby for Hugo Obsessed with documenting his everyday life, he says his aim is to create images that transcend their mundane subject-matter to leave a lasting impression.
